Branson - Celebration City

We had quite the time at Celebration City! This is the entrance...they had it decorated so nicely for fall! There were displays like this through the whole place. It is really a nice place to go...they have it set up like you are walking through the streets of yesterday. The roads are all paved like what you see here.
The kids really enjoyed driving these motorized boats around.
They shrunk!! Dont they look funny in this over sized rocking chair?!
We went to the Veggie Tales Silly Sing Along show, which is also inside Celebration City. It only lasts about 20-30 minutes but it is really perfect. You sing along with a few of the favorite songs, then they bring out the bubble machine for Larry's hairbrush song, then at the end Bob and Larry come out and surprise all the kids!!! Even though the boys are 7 they still think this is the REAL Bob and Larry!! Too funny!
The Giant Monkey!!
There were so many fun things like this in there...I took SO many pictures while we were there. I couldnt possibly put them all on here!
The kids did some of the rides while we were there. This one is of Mason and Grandpa. They went on this twice and Mason loved it! It is one of those water rides that gets you wet!
I think Brody and Taylor went on two different rides...this one and a swing one that didnt go too fast. They are more into the kiddie ones that are not at all intimidating!! They had a good time on the ones they went on.
This one is of Eric and Mason. This ride at first didnt look like it was going to be too bad, but once it started it was FAST and HIGH!! Good thing Mason is into that kind of thing!! They ended up going on this twice in a row. I couldnt believe how far up in the air they got and how fast it went...it was really fun to watch them~~
Daddy bought the kids all some of those light up toys when it got to be evening. The boys got these cool swords that light up and make noises!
The night show that they put on is just about the coolest thing we have seen! It was SO worth the price of admission!! They do about a 30 minute fireworks/laser light show every evening. There is a huge rock wall that sits above a pond and they project video onto the rock while they play music/shoot fireworks/laser lights/fire balls...it is really amazing!! The theme for this one was "Celebrating America"
Here is Taylor in her light up head band and 3D type glasses...too cute!!
If you are ever in Branson make sure you go to Celebration City!!

Cool Moon!

This may not seem too interesting....but some nights the moon is sooo BIG and Orange!! Of course a picture doesnt really do it justice! This was taken through the willow tree.

Brody Lost ONE!!

Well, Brody finally lost one of his top teeth! When I picked him up from school yesterday he had a big grin on his face and a tooth necklace around his neck! He pulled it out during music class.
The other top one isnt really that loose so it may be awhile for that one. We will keep you updated!!

Bonfires!!

Our favorite time of year is almost here!! We have had a few cold nights recently and have been able to do some bonfires! These first couple pictures we were kind of experimenting with Eric's new camera. They turned out pretty cool I think....you can even see the sparks flying up from the fire!
In this one you can see (from left to right) my dad, taylor, mom holding mason and brody is standing. We were playing a guessing game that taylor had made up...she keeps us busy. There is no just sitting around quietly when she is in charge! Sometimes we will even go out in the yard and play "marco polo" in the dark and try to find each other.
This last picture is of a different night. The kids always want me to pull the van to the back so they can play in it while we are hanging out by the fire. The boys were in charge of the CD player and they had a grat time "dancing"... of course Eric played along with his guitar!
Happy Fall!!!

Out with the Goats

We spent sunday afternoon out with the goats and Dingo....he is so funny! I cant believe how big he is already! He is all legs....I think he is taller than any of the goats. Dahlia, Zinnie and Dingo are all 8 months now.
This is Zinnie and one of her many tricks! Goats really are fun to watch....they are soooo curious about everything! This is her feed trough she decided to stand in.
Dahlia is the real comedian of the group....this is her balancing act on the chairs. If you are sitting in one of them she will try to climb in your lap...it is really annoying sometimes! She prefers the chairs knocked over rather than standing up. One time she climbed through one of the windows in the playhouse you see in the background and got stuck half in and half out because of her big belly!! Luckily I was out there to push her through!
We will be putting the boys and girls together in December and hoping for May babies!!

Toothless Mason!!

Mason lost both of his top teeth a couple weeks ago!! They both came out within days of each other. He looks pretty cute doesnt he?! Everyone is enjoying having a way to tell the boys apart....
Brody's top ones are loose so I will be sure to keep you updated on that!!

OOPS!

OK....for some reason only the picture posted on that last one about the baby ducks!!!
They are having a great time running with the other chickens and ducks. They love having all the water and mud to play in as you can tell from the picture!
When I first moved them outside I had put them in a rabbit hutch inside the chicken coop until they were a little bigger. I was afraid they may get picked on. They seem to be doing good though. Only a couple of the hens gave them a hard time. Also you can see a white silkie hen in the background....I think out of five silkies we ended up with only two roosters...not too bad!!
